Bio

Louella Bryant holds B.A. and Master’s in Education and Human Development degrees from George Washington University and Master’s of Fine Arts in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. After twenty-five years teaching high school English, Louella served on the faculty of Spalding University’s MFA in Writing program in Louisville. She is author of nine books, including six historical novels, a story collection, a memoir, and a biography set during the Vietnam era. Her stories, essays, and poems have won awards and are included in anthologies and magazines. Currently she runs a writing workshop and works as an independent editor helping emerging writers hone their craft.
